I discovered the beach hut while taking a walk along the seafront. Nestled right on the beach, it offers a fantastic ambiance that perfectly complements its stunning location. Jon, who runs the place, is incredibly warm and welcoming, adding to the overall charm. And as for the food and coffee, it's undoubtedly among the best Sussex has to offer.

Toasties in the toasty sun! There is a lovely selection of savoury fillings but my favourite so far is the banana and Nutella, so very, very tasty, a real comfort food and perfect for an energy boosting break as you travel along the prom. The quality sourdough bread made all the difference. The view is still as beautiful as ever. Coffee to accompany it for me is a must! Hug in a mug .

An absolutely romantic spot on the promenade — delicious coffee, comfort, and the warm attention of the barista. A place you long to escape to again and again from the noise of London.

Parking I found difficult, but so glad to see the formerly named 'Spyglass' , a rather novel and quirky work of art ...very well done to the creator! A genuis with its revolving sunlight aspect(?). However, I appreciate what is now known as a cafe 'Memories- by - Sea. The cafe was closed during my short visit on a busy Saturday afternoon 28/6/25 in the heatwave of 30 degrees. I try again next time for an ice cream. Chris.

one of my favorite places i’ve been in the whole world!!! (not kidding lol) this little seaside fish and chips stand is quite honestly a community hub for the most lovely and diverse human beings living around eastbourne. it is a safe space, truly. you will meet the most beautiful people and eat the best fish and chips you’ve ever had. and the ice cream? amazing. the vibes? immaculate. your stomach and heart? full. i came to eastbourne for one day and ended up staying the weekend after stumbling upon this little beachside hut and meeting the most lovely and truly kind human beings (the owner included). do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t regret it <3
